Job summary

Steadfast Contractors Alliance is seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversee daily field operations across multiple active job sites in Florida. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficient coordination between project management, subcontractors, and field crews.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction or site development, excellent leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with field software such as Buildertrend. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supervisory experience in construction or site development.
• Knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities, and general construction practices.
• Ability to read plans and manage field operations independently.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with smartphones, tablets, and basic software like Buildertrend.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all on-site construction activities and crews.
• Coordinate scheduling of labor, materials, and equipment.
• Ensure work meets specifications, deadlines, and quality standards.
• Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and project layouts.
• Conduct daily site inspections for safety compliance and production tracking.
• Communicate progress, delays, and issues to project managers and leadership.
• Manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring adherence to scope and timelines.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports and photos.
• Lead safety meetings and uphold the company safety culture.
• Support training and mentorship of field staff to promote growth and consistency.
