Job summary

STRUCTURAL NE&F is hiring a Construction Superintendent to lead field teams from our Boston (Chelmsford) office. You will work with project managers and division leaders to plan, coordinate, and execute concrete repair, masonry restoration, waterproofing, and strengthening projects on commercial/industrial sites.

The role requires 10+ years in construction with 5+ years as a Foreman/Asst Superintendent, deep safety commitment, and the ability to manage multiple projects and crews while reading

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• 10+ years in general construction with at least 5 years as Foreman or Assistant Superintendent.
• Experience with concrete repair, masonry, waterproofing or facade restoration.
• Ability to supervise multiple projects and crews with limited oversight.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and contract specs.
• Commitment to safety and OSHA-like practices.
• Proficiency with basic construction math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Managers and Division Managers on planning.
• Drive pre-project planning and disseminate details to crews.
• Motivate teams, coordinate activities and assign tasks by resource needs.

STRUCTURAL is the open-shop contracting business line of Structural Group.We are currently recruiting for a Construction Superintendent to be based out of our Boston office which is located in Chelmsford, MA. As Superintendent for STRUCTURAL NE&F, you will be responsible for providing high level management to other field leaders, Foreman as well as our open-shop that make our nation’s structures stronger and last longer.
