The role requires strong organization, a focus on quality, and safety-minded leadership to guide commercial construction from site setup to completion. You will work closely with the Construction Project Manager, supervise multiple subcontractors, manage schedules, ensure permits and inspections, and maintain daily reports and field documentation.

Qualifikationen

• Experience supervising commercial construction projects.
• OSHA 10/30, CPR and First Aid preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in supervision of building construction.
• Ability to read and understand plans, specs, and shop drawings.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with daily reports and documentation.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with Construction Project Manager throughout the project.
• Ensure safety policy adherence by all employees and contractors.
• Lead jobsite safety meetings and maintain safety logs.
• Maintain clean and safe job-site conditions.
• Rectify job site hazards immediately.
• Prepare daily reports and field documentation.
• Create and manage project punch lists with subcontractors and customers.
• Coordinate permits and occupancy with local jurisdictions.
• Schedule and attend municipal inspections.
• Coordinate and supervise all construction activities.
• Manage multiple subcontractors and vendors across trades.
• Oversee weekly coordination meetings with subcontractors.
• Inspect work to ensure quality and schedule adherence.
• Manage construction scheduling on tight timelines.
• Order materials and schedule inspections.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers.
• Review contract documents with team and subcontractors to ensure compliance.
• Track and manage closing documents (RFIs, Submittals, Punch-lists).
• Enforce company and project policies.
