Job summary

Rockford is seeking a Superintendent to oversee field operations on assigned projects in Detroit. The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and a focus on safety and efficiency to ensure on-time, profitable completion.

You will supervise labor, trade contractors, engineers, and craft workers, while mentoring the team for growth. The ideal candidate has construction management education or equivalent experience and can read complex blueprints, coordinate logistics, and present

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Construction Management or years of equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of managing residential and commercial projects.
• Led or participated in managing construction projects.
• Ability to manage logistical and mentally complex jobs.
• Certifications in First Aid/CPR.
• OSHA training.
• Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, memos, blueprints and floor plans.
• Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations on assigned projects to achieve timely, profitable completion.
