Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent with over five years of experience in commercial construction. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Procore and Sage CRE 300 (Timberline), and the ability to interpret drawings and specifications. The role involves managing projects ranging from 2 to 10 million dollars, providing leadership, and fostering effective working relationships within the team.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and establish effective and harmonious working relationships with on-site staff to promote positive project morale.
• Thoroughly understand each subcontract, contract drawings, specifications, and addenda, assisting the Project Manager in developing on-site procedures.
• Examine contract drawings for design deficiencies, impractical details, and possible code violations, bringing these issues to the Project Manager's attention for review with the Architect.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to keep schedules updated and ensure the job meets required dates.
• Plan and review the Construction Program with the Project Manager, including quality control procedures, safety and security practices, field office location and layout, temporary utilities, staging areas, equipment, and manpower.
• Coordinate, direct, monitor, and inspect the activities of the Subcontractors and Suppliers, with the Assistant Superintendent.
• Verify that each Subcontractor has completed contractual requirements before starting work at the jobsite.
• Schedule and attend weekly coordination meetings with the Project Manager and subcontractors.
• Maintain good relations and communications with all involved in the project, including the public.
  
  

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction as a superintendent.
• Knowledge of Procore and Sage CRE 300 (Timberline).
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Experience with managing projects ranging from 2 to 10 million dollars.
  
  

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Construction management and supervision.
• General contractor and subcontractor management.
• Proficiency in project management and scheduling.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience with construction safety and RFIs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
