Position Summary
This role manages the construction of new stores and special projects from inception to operations turnover. It involves technical negotiations with developers, landlords, architects, and engineers. This is a remote role.

Responsibilities

  1. Participate in construction negotiations to establish terms, schedules, and criteria.
  2. Establish and adapt project schedules to meet delivery dates.
  3. Identify and qualify potential contractors.
  4. Manage the bidding process and contract execution.
  5. Monitor and enforce quality and criteria compliance during construction.
  6. Coordinate communication among internal teams and external partners.
  7. Review documents related to budgeting, permits, and code compliance.
  8. Represent BSRO to building officials when needed.
  9. Organize and lead construction meetings.
  10. Coordinate turnover of projects to store opening teams.
  11. Support warranty claims and repairs.
  12. Ensure proper project closeout and audit compliance.
  13. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management.
  • 7+ years in multi-site construction management.
  • Experience with greenfield development is preferred.
  • Knowledge of construction disciplines and ADA requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Proficiency with CAD, Excel, Word.
  • Ability to travel 50-75%.
  • Physical ability to climb ladders, lift up to 30 lbs, and stand for long periods.
