Lunova Group is seeking a Superintendent for modernization projects in the Greater Washington, DC area. The role is based out of the College Park, MD office with regular onsite collaboration and field operations throughout the region.

The Superintendent – Modernization will lead field crews, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget, while maintaining strong customer relationships and project documentation.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in construction project management or construction field operations.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, scheduling, and project execution.
  • Proven ability to lead crews and manage multiple active projects.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing customer relationships.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Comfortable working in fast‑paced, field‑based environments.
  • Experience with budgeting, project tracking, and operational reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

About the Role

This role is heavily focused on construction project execution, team leadership, scheduling, and customer communication. Prior elevator industry experience is not required — the company is looking for a strong construction professional with proven project management and field leadership experience who is eager to grow into a superintendent‑level role.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and enforce company safety standards and compliance initiatives
  • Mentor and develop field employees through coaching, training, and performance management
  • Maintain strong working relationships with customers and project stakeholders
  • Assist with workforce planning, hiring, and team development initiatives
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in construction project management or construction field operations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent industry experience will also be considered
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, scheduling, and project execution
  • Proven ability to lead crews and manage multiple active projects simultaneously
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing customer relationships
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills
