Senior Superintendent
Based in Denver, CO, we are an industry leader specializing in large-scale infrastructure, site development, and construction projects that support long-term economic growth and community development across North America.
We're seeking a Senior Superintendent with experience leading complex construction projects from site mobilization through project completion. This role will oversee daily field operations, coordinate contractors and stakeholders, drive schedule performance, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead all onsite construction activities from pre-construction planning through project completion
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, consultants, and field personnel to ensure successful project execution
- Drive project schedules through daily planning, coordination meetings, and look-ahead scheduling
- Oversee site development, utility installation, grading, infrastructure improvements, structural work, and related construction activities
- Monitor project safety, quality, productivity, and compliance with company standards
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, utility providers, and local agencies
- Identify field issues, develop corrective actions, and proactively resolve schedule or construction challenges
- Maintain project documentation including daily reports, progress updates, safety records, and quality inspections
- Lead site logistics planning, contractor coordination, and project sequencing efforts
- Support project turnover, commissioning activities, and final closeout
Qualifications
- 8+ years of construction leadership experience as a Superintendent, Construction Manager, General Superintendent, or similar field leadership role
- Experience managing large-scale construction, infrastructure, industrial, civil, utility, energy, commercial, or site development projects
- Strong understanding of construction scheduling, site logistics, subcontractor management, and project execution
- Experience coordinating multiple trades and contractors in active construction environments
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and project documentation
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of construction safety practices and quality control procedures
- Willingness to travel as project requirements dictate
