Ideal candidates have 5+ years in commercial construction, with proven lead Superintendent experience on at least two projects, and strong skills in coordinating trades, safety compliance, and clear communication with project teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction, with a strong background in field supervision.
• Lead/Superintendent on at least 2 projects from start to finish.
• Knowledge of construction means, methods, materials, and safety/regulatory compliance.
• Ability to lead and coordinate subcontractors and field crews.
• Excellent communication with PMs, trades, and on-site stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day on-site operations, coordinating trades, subcontractors, and field staff to stay on schedule and within budget.
• Serve as the primary field authority on assigned projects, translating plans into safe, high-quality execution.
• Enforce safety protocols and site regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to anticipate and resolve field issues impacting timelines or costs.
• Manage on-site material and equipment logistics to minimize delays and waste.
• Maintain daily reports, schedules, and project documentation for tracking and quality control.
• Lead Raleigh-Durham-based commercial projects in Life Science, Healthcare, and Mission Critical sectors.

Performance Objectives

• Direct day-to-day on-site operations, coordinating trades, subcontractors, and field staff to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Serve as the primary field authority on assigned projects, translating plans and specifications into safe, efficient, and high-quality execution.
• Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and site regulations, maintaining a secure work environment for all personnel.
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers to anticipate and resolve field issues before they impact timelines or cost.
