This Commercial construction General Contractor is looking to build upon their incredible, growing team of project superintendents that will excel at building the best Higher-Educational / School (K-12 + University) and other commercial office/retail projects in the Mid-TN Nashville area.

They are based in the Nashville area and have one of the best reputations and progressive clientele a company could ask for locally or across the Mid-State.
They work with dozens of businesses in the middle Tennessee area. From concept to draft plans to a firm proposal, They work hand-in-hand to create the best possible result for any organization.Their firm specializes solely in commercial construction projects between $300,000 and $30M. These projects range from ground-up construction to renovations or additions. Most of their clients are located within 50 miles of middle Tennessee.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Commercial Superintendent will preferably have a college degree (BA: Const.Management or Engineering preferred) & approximately 5+ years of experience in commercial projects .
The Superintendent will be implementing construction methodology to Plan, develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and site safety activities in educational type projects.
The ideal candidate will coordinate subcontractors and vendors, subcontractor agreements, supervise construction projects from design/plans through project completion. The majority of projects will revolve around higher-educational or K-12 educational, restaurant, retail, office & hospitality structures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Education:
Construction Management Bachelor's degree (or similar)preferred. Must be proficient at computer skills and the use of scheduling software.
