Job summary

WECTEC Staffing Services is seeking a Construction Superintendent Level 2 to support field execution of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and Substation construction projects in the Central Region on a 1-year contract (W-2).

You will report to the Construction Manager or Senior Construction Superintendent and provide day-to-day oversight of contractor activities, monitoring safety and quality while coordinating field operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 4+ years' experience in construction or related field
• Experience with utility-scale projects or BESS/Substations is a plus

About the role: Location: Central Region. Per diem available

We are looking for a Construction Superintendent level 2 on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment. (W-2) You will support the successful field execution of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and associated Substation construction projects.

You will work under the direction of the Construction Manager or Senior Construction Superintendent.

Location: Central Region. Per diem available

Key Responsibilities

• In this role, you will provide day-to-day oversight of contractor activities, monitors safety and quality.
• Track construction progress and assists with coordinating field operations.
• You are expected to be a strong field presence with a solid understanding of commercial and utility construction practices while continuing to develop expertise in BESS, substations, commissioning, and project execution.
