About the role

Location Project likely to be in Georgia or Mississippi

We're looking for a Construction Superintendent on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment. (W-2) You will oversee QAQC on a battery storage job. This includes safety oversight, receiving materials, and inspection of the mechanical and electrical construction.

You will provide technical and budget/financial support for the project including reviewing contract documents for a technical aspect and reviewing plant design criteria, drawings, and specifications. Responsible for contractor monitoring and oversight of assigned work. Primary responsibility will include route development, field visits to verify to support overall pre‑construction preparation for energy projects.

Location: Project likely to be in Georgia or Mississippi

We expect travel within the US to approximate 25%.

Key Responsibilities

• Develops routing criteria, ensures compliance with cost, engineering, and environmental considerations, and leads to coordination between technical teams.
• Provide oversight for route refinement and support value engineering and permitting activities.
• Will use your skills required to coordinate with subject matter experts across Engineering & Construction, Environmental Services, Legal, Development, and Land.
• We expect a functional understanding of the important criteria used to develop routing criteria across departments such as cost, engineering concerns, and common environmental constraints.
• You should also have experience with route refinement using value engineering or other applicable concepts to improve criteria for late‑stage activities including permitting before construction.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree or bachelor's degree in engineering, Power Generation, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Relevant Experience: 11 or more years of experience managing technical aspects of routing, siting, and construction projects.
