Job summary

Professional Employment Group of Colorado is assisting a Denver-based, 100% employee-owned general contractor to hire an experienced Superintendent. This role will lead ground-up commercial construction projects in the Denver area, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality across sites.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years with a General Contractor, strong leadership and subcontractor coordination, and proficiency with MS Office; Procore is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience with a General Contractor.
• Ground-up commercial construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations from site work through project completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, field crews, and project teams.
• Manage schedules, budgets, and project costs.
• Lead jobsite safety meetings and maintain OSHA compliance.
• Prepare daily reports, RFIs, quality documentation, and project records.
• Monitor project quality and manage punch lists and closeout.
• Maintain strong communication with project managers, owners, and subcontractors.

Position Summary:

Seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead ground-up commercial construction projects in the Denver area. This role is responsible for managing all on-site construction activities while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily field operations from site work through project completion
• Coordinate subcontractors, field crews, and project teams
• Manage schedules, budgets, and project costs
• Lead jobsite safety meetings and maintain OSHA compliance
• Prepare daily reports, RFIs, quality documentation, and project records
• Monitor project quality and manage punch lists and closeout
• Maintain strong communication with project managers, owners, and subcontractors

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience with a General Contractor
• Ground-up commercial construction experience preferred
• Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills
• Experience managing schedules, budgets, safety, RFIs, and project documentation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Procore experience is a plus
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, approximately 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
