Job summary

Facilities Contracting seeks an experienced superintendent to lead on-site construction, supervising both in-house and subcontract crews to deliver projects on time and within budget.

You will generate progress reports, manage RFIs/submittals/changes, and maintain project documentation with the Project Manager while upholding safety and quality standards across sites. Travel to remote projects may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (not required).
• Experience as a Commercial Project Superintendent.
• Field Experience in commercial construction preferred.
• Ability to travel to remote projects.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Healthcare construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site construction as primary leadership.
• Supervise in-house and subcontract crews to meet schedule, budget, and quality.
• Generate daily/weekly progress reports and manage RFIs, submittals, and changes.
• Maintain project documents and coordinate with the Project Manager.

Job Description

As a key member of our company, this role will serve as the primary leadership on site, supervising both in house and subcontract crews performing tasks to execute projects. The project superintendent will supervise the job and ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to our standard and the client’s standard of quality. This teammate will provide daily and weekly progress reports throughout construction and be responsible for RFI generation, submittal and change order review, and overall project document management on site collaboratively with the Project Manager. Previous experience is beneficial. Part time travel may be necessary based on project backlog.

• Read and understand project specifications and plans
• Schedule and plan project tasks efficiently and effectively
• Communicate with staff and subcontractors professionally and efficiently
• Develop and implement site safety, health, and quality measures
• Review and control subcontract and internal work and confirm compliance with design
• Lead and promote development with peers and tradesmen
• Prepare accurate and timely reports and project documents
• Schedule inspections and guide the project through the acceptance process
• Lead equipment maintenance and company asset management effectively and diligently on a project
• Assist and lead daily jobsite activities with tradesmen
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Projects)
• Bachelor’s Degree (not required)
