Job summary

SecureTek Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead on-site construction activities for commercial projects across Connecticut and the Northeast. You will coordinate subcontractors, maintain schedules, enforce safety, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of superintendent experience managing commercial construction projects.
• Experience with CMAR, General Contracting, or Design-Build delivery methods preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, higher education, K-12, municipal, commercial, senior living, mixed-use, historic renovation, or industrial construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, means, and methods.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or Microsoft Project.
• OSHA 30 Certification required or ability to obtain.
• Valid driver's license with ability to travel to jobsites throughout Connecticut and the Northeast.

Responsibilities

• Direct all day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects.
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to maintain project schedules.
• Develop and maintain short-term look-ahead schedules with the Project Manager.
• Ensure work complies with project plans, specifications, building codes, and quality standards.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and productive jobsite.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA regulations.
• Coordinate inspections and maintain required permits and documentation.
• Monitor project progress and identify schedule conflicts or construction challenges.
• Review subcontractor work for quality, completeness, and compliance.
• Collaborate with Project Managers on budgets, schedules, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Maintain daily reports, site logs, manpower reports, and project records.
• Coordinate punch lists, commissioning support, closeout, and owner turnover.
• Foster positive relationships with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
