Job summary

Elsdon Group is seeking a Construction Superintendent for nationwide cold storage projects. You will be the No.1 on site, leading the project from construction through to completion, ensuring safety, schedule, and quality across complex industrial facilities.

You will coordinate subcontractors, manage site logistics, and run project meetings while working closely with project managers, owners and design teams. Willingness to travel nationally is required.

Qualifications

• Lead (No.1) Superintendent on site with proven experience.
• Experience delivering Cold Storage or Food Manufacturing facilities.
• Experience with Food Processing plants.
• Knowledge of refrigerated distribution centres and temperature-controlled warehouses.
• Strong understanding of MEP coordination and complex industrial construction.
• Ability to manage subcontractors, schedules and site safety.
• Willingness to travel nationally for projects.

Construction Superintendent – Cold Storage

Nationwide General Contractor

A nationally recognised General Contractor specialising in cold storage, food processing, food manufacturing and temperature-controlled facilities is looking to add an experienced Construction Superintendent to its growing operations team.

This is an opportunity to join a contractor with a strong pipeline of complex industrial projects across the United States. Your first assignment will be a large-scale cold storage development in California, where you'll act as the No.1 Superintendent on site, leading the project from construction through to completion.

The Role

As the lead Superintendent, you'll have full responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule and to the highest quality standards.

You’ll coordinate subcontractors, manage site logistics, lead project meetings and work closely with Project Managers, owners and design teams throughout the build.

Requirements

• Proven experience as the Lead (No.1) Superintendent
• Previous delivery of Cold Storage projects ORFood Manufacturing facilities
• Food Processing plants
• Refrigerated distribution centres
• Temperature-controlled warehouses
• Strong understanding of MEP coordination and complex industrial construction
