Job summary

Renewyx is seeking an experienced Superintendent for a traveling role in cold storage construction. This position requires 5+ years of experience in managing big box and industrial projects, particularly in cold storage.

The ideal candidate will be able to interpret structural drawings and manage subcontractors on fast-paced job sites. This is an opportunity to join a growing division focused on innovative design-build projects throughout the United States.

Travel is essential, and a strong understanding of OSHA guidelines is required.

Qualifications

Renewyx have partnered with one of the most established General Contractors in the country - a nationwide design-build powerhouse with 35+ years of delivery behind them and one of the most active cold storage pipelines in the market right now.

They've built a dedicated Cold Storage division that is going from strength to strength. We're talking 400,000 SF+ freezer facilities, design-build industrial programmes, and a client list that includes some of the biggest names in food distribution and logistics. The pipeline is full, the reputation is earned, and they need people who can travel and deliver.

The Role

• 5+ years' Superintendent experience on big box, industrial, or cold storage construction
• Cold storage or climate-controlled construction experience strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of steel erection, insulated metal panel systems, and large-format industrial builds
• Proven subcontractor management across fast-paced, deadline-driven programmes – Comfortable reading structural and civil drawings end-to-end
• Daily reporting and site documentation as standard – OSHA 30 certified
• Willingness to travel nationally – this role is project-to-project
• Self-sufficient on site – able to make decisions and keep things moving independently
• A nationally recognised GC with a full and growing cold storage pipeline
