Job summary

Brooksource in Northern Virginia is hiring two superintendents to support data center whitespace buildout and interior commercial/residential projects. The role oversees daily field operations, coordinates with management, and ensures budget, schedule, quality, and safety targets are met.

Qualified candidates have 3–8+ years as a superintendent on similar projects, experience supervising 15+ crew members, and proficiency with Procore, MS Project, Excel, and Primavera; OSHA 10 is required, OSHA

Qualifications

• 3–8+ years of superintendent experience in residential or interiors.
• Experience supervising crews of 15+ personnel.
• Strong understanding of plans, specs, and constructability.
• MEP coordination exposure helpful.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day jobsite operations and sequencing.
• Direct subcontractor workflow in alignment with project schedule.
• Maintain detailed daily logs and field documentation.
• Ensure safety standards and OSHA compliance.
• Identify schedule risks and mitigate delays.
• Coordinate inspections, permits, and closeout documentation.
• Communicate clearly with project stakeholders and leadership.

About the Opportunity

We are hiring for one of the premier residential/commercial construction firms in Northern Virginia wrapping up a data center project within the next two months and is anticipating two additional interior project awards.

We are actively hiring two Superintendents to support:

• Data Center Whitespace Buildout (core/guts of the facility)
• Interior Commercial & Residential Projects

Position Overview

These Superintendents will organize, manage, and control assigned projects to ensure objectives of budget, quality, scheduling, and safety are achieved. This individual will oversee daily field operations, supervise subcontractors, manage site productivity, and coordinate closely with Project Management and Field Operations leadership. Crew sizes range from 15–30 workers.

Shift Schedules

Data Center Project

• 5:30 AM – 2:30 PM EST

Interior Projects

• 8-hour shifts between 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Averaging ~50 hours/week
• Occasional Saturdays and overtime expected

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day jobsite operations and sequencing

• Maintain detailed daily logs and field documentation
• Ensure safety standards and OSHA compliance
• Identify schedule risks and proactively mitigate delays

• Residential
• One role may focus strictly on interiors; the other may require broader exposure including MEP coordination
• Strong understanding of plans, specifications, and constructability
• Experience supervising crews of 15+ personnel
