U.S WDS is seeking a Full-time Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable specialist in Tampa. You will manage AP/AR for residential and commercial projects, ensuring accurate job costing, retainage, and lien waivers while processing invoices and customer billing.

You will work with project managers to code costs, manage cash receipts, and support close processes. Prior construction experience and strong Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts payable or accounts receivable experience, including construction
• Experience with job costing, retainage, and lien waivers
• Experience with customer billing, cash receipts, and collections
• Proficiency with NetSuite, QuickBooks Online or RAMP
• Strong Excel skills with lookups and pivot tables
• Attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume transactions
• Clear communication with vendors, subcontractors, customers and PMs

Responsabilités

• Process vendor invoices and subcontractor pay applications for residential and commercial entities
• Code invoices to the correct job, phase, and cost code with project manager approvals
• Match subcontractor pay applications to subcontracts, commitments and change orders
• Withhold and track retainage; collect lien waivers before payment
• Prepare weekly payment runs for review and approval; set up new vendors and collect W-9s
• Prepare residential customer invoices and post cash receipts
• Support commercial progress billing and AIA pay applications
• Maintain AP/AR aging, follow up on past-due accounts, reconcile vendor statements
• Support month-end close with AP cutoff, accruals, and job cost reports
• Prepare 1099s at year-end
