Job Description:

The Surveyor must be willing to relocate to Kwajalein Island, Marshall Islands on a long-term assignment. This position is not a remote or hybrid work location opportunity.

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Surveyor to join our team!

Position Overview:

The Surveyor surveys land surfaces and provides technical guidance to the survey crew. Work in the field may include climbing ladders, scaffolding, working on elevated platforms and/or permanent ladders, working on uneven surfaces, and/or working in confined spaces.

Responsibilities:
  • Survey land surfaces to determine precise location and measurement of lines, areas, contours, elevations, angles, and points for various purposes such as titles, land division, and mapmaking. Accurately record survey data and compile notes, records, and sketches as documentation.
  • Provide technical guidance to the survey crew.
  • Perform other responsibilities as appropriate for the position.
Key Relationships:

Supervision Received: Construction Superintendent
Supervision Given: Survey Crew Members (technical guidance only)
Internal Contacts: All employees on the project
External Contacts: Clients

Education and Experience:
  • Associates degree in a related field or equivalent experience, typically 15+ years.
  • Licensed Land Surveyor desired but not required.
Skills and Competencies:

Requires knowledge of surveying and construction processes, industry practices, excellent communication skills, familiarity with CAD and other software, ability to read blueprints, and perform calculations.

  • Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record.
  • Valid US passport.
Minimum Clearance Required to Start:

Salary Range: $86,700.00 - $151,700.00
