Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking a Construction Site Supervisor in Michigan to oversee on-site construction projects, supervise the team, and ensure safety and quality standards are met. The role involves material ordering, scheduling, quotes, permits, inspections, and coordinating trades as needed.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction supervision, knowledge of blueprints and codes (OSHA), and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Minimum of five years' experience as construction supervisor or construction management.
• Understanding of blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety requirements (OSHA).
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in oversight of all construction projects performed.
• Oversee the construction team on-site and maintain a safe work environment.
• Order materials, schedule deliveries, obtain quotes, and coordinate inspections.
• Perform mechanical tasks as needed (drywall, framing, HVAC, carpentry).
