Job summary

Sleeping Dog Properties, Inc. in the greater Boston area seeks a Construction Site Supervisor to oversee residential and commercial projects. This role focuses on on-site leadership, safety, scheduling, and coordination with subcontractors and project management to ensure high-quality finishes.

Responsibilities include daily reporting, material coordination, and enforcing SDP safety standards. The ideal candidate has CSL/OSHA 30 training and a track record in ground-up and renovation work.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of safety procedures and regulations; experience in managing, training, and developing personnel; demonstrated project experience in ground-up construction, renovation work, and familiarity with high-level finishes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit end-of-day reports to the Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager.
• Ensure all team members and subcontractors use correct PPE and uphold site safety per SDP guidelines.
• Be present on-site first and last each day; maintain a clean, organized, dust-free, food-free site.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to keep an updated project schedule within cost and time constraints.
• Communicate with the project team regarding ASIs, RFIs, and Material Submittals.
• Manage the project process and quality in accordance with established plans.
• Supervise on-site personnel and subcontractors to foster positive relationships.
• Ensure workmanship meets high quality standards and that building codes and safety regulations are followed.
• Act as liaison between Assistant Project Manager and field staff.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and understand construction equipment for inspection and maintenance.
• Identify constructability issues during preconstruction with the Project Manager; manage punch list items.
• Conduct weekly safety job site meetings.
