Sordan Construction in the Greater Boston Area is seeking a Construction Site Supervisor/Project Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure projects stay on time and within budget, and uphold safety and quality standards.

The role requires coordinating with subcontractors, managing site logistics, and acting as liaison between site crew and management, with hands-on work and reporting responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Job Site Supervisor or similar role in construction
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA safety guidelines
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and plans
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Relevant certifications or licenses preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site activities in alignment with project plans, schedules, and specifications
• Direct and oversee subcontractors, laborers, and on-site personnel
• Enforce safety protocols; conduct regular safety meetings and site inspections
• Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with project plans and regulations
• Coordinate with the Project Manager and stakeholders for workflow and scheduling
• Manage materials and equipment on-site to prevent delays
• Address on-site issues or changes swiftly to keep projects on track
• Maintain accurate daily logs and reports of site activities and incidents
• Serve as the point of contact for clients and provide regular updates
• Ensure compliance with local codes, environmental laws, and regulatory requirements
• Assist with hands-on construction tasks to meet deadlines
