Altec Roofing in West Palm Beach is building an elite production team in the South Florida market. The Residential Roofing Project Manager will oversee roofing projects from initial inspection to final walkthrough, managing client relationships, crews, and quality to deliver a smooth experience for homeowners.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of field sales experience in home services or roofing.
• Familiarity with exterior construction materials and installation methods.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks and software.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel in the field daily.

Responsibilities

• Manage a pipeline of residential roofing projects from sale through completion.
• Conduct on-site inspections and measurements to confirm scope and material needs.
• Build schedules and ensure crews and materials arrive on time.
• Serve as the main point of contact for homeowners with clear updates.
• Coordinate installation crews and subcontractors to ensure staffing for each job.
• Order and schedule delivery of materials and coordinate with suppliers.

Job description

Altec Roofing is building an elite production team in the high velocity South Florida Market full of new development, aging roofs and the ever-present threat of storms. All this requires elite, high impact project managers.

The Residential Roofing Project Manager oversees roofing projects on single-family and multi-family homes from initial inspection through final walkthrough. This role manages client relationships, crew scheduling, and project quality to ensure homeowners receive a smooth, professional experience from contract signing to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a pipeline of residential roofing projects simultaneously, from sale/contract through completion
• Conduct on-site roof inspections and measurements to confirm scope and material needs
• Build and manage project schedules, ensuring crews and materials arrive on time
• Serve as the main point of contact for homeowners, providing clear updates throughout the project
• Coordinate installation crews and subcontractors, ensuring proper staffing for each job
• Order and schedule delivery of materials (shingles, underlayment, flashing, ventilation, etc.)
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes, manufacturer installation guidelines, and OSHA safety standards
• Coordinate municipal inspections as required
• Handle change orders and communicate any cost or timeline changes to homeowners
• Perform quality control inspections during tear-off, installation, and at project completion
• Resolve day-of issues on job sites (weather delays, crew shortages, material shortages, etc.)
• Collect final walkthrough sign-off and ensure homeowner satisfaction
• Maintain organized documentation: permits, photos, warranties, and invoices
• Manage project budgets and labor costs to protect profit margins

Requirements

• 3–6 years of field sales experience in home services, roofing, or remodeling project management
• Familiarity with exterior construction materials and methods of installation
• Basic computer literacy skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Valid driver's license and the ability to be in the field daily
