Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a diligent Construction Site Supervisor to join their team for projects in Paarl, Western Cape. You will translate project plans into on-site tasks, supervise tradespeople, and uphold safety and quality standards to meet milestones.

You will lead day-to-day activities, coordinate crews and resources, inspect workmanship, enforce health and safety protocols, and liaise with project managers to resolve on-site issues and keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Site Supervisor or foreman.
• Solid understanding of construction processes and materials.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.

About the Role

Our client is looking for a diligent and hands-on Construction Site Supervisor to join their team, contributing to projects in Paarl, Western Cape . This role is critical for ensuring the smooth execution of daily construction tasks, coordinating work crews, and maintaining site safety and quality standards. You will be the key point of contact on-site, responsible for translating project plans into actionable tasks and supervising tradespeople to achieve project milestones. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong practical construction knowledge and the ability to effectively manage resources and personnel on site, with occasional remote coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities on site, ensuring work proceeds efficiently and according to plan.
• Supervise and direct construction crews, including tradespeople and laborers, ensuring productivity and adherence to schedules.
• Implement and enforce stringent health and safety protocols, conducting regular site inspections and safety briefings.
• Ensure the quality of workmanship meets project specifications and industry standards.
