Placements24 is seeking a practical Construction Foreman to oversee operations at sites in the Paarl area. You will lead skilled tradespeople, ensure daily tasks are performed safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards.

This hands-on role requires strong leadership, on-site resource management, and the ability to read plans and specifications while coordinating with project managers and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience on construction sites.
• Solid understanding of trades, techniques and building materials.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the daily work activities of construction crews, assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
• Ensure strict adherence to all health and safety regulations on the construction site, conducting regular safety checks.
• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications, ensuring work aligns with these documents.
