Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Safety Specialist to develop, support, and audit safety programs. You will report to a project Safety Manager and help implement the Site Specific Safety Plan in the field.

Responsibilities include verifying OSHA/MSHA compliance, assisting with incident investigations, coordinating safety training, and maintaining project files. Must be willing to travel/relocate as needed for projects. This is a full-time role with competitive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, review, updating, and communication of the Site Specific Safety Plan.
• Collaborate with craft daily to promote safety program buy-in and ownership.
• Stop Work to ensure adherence to policies and plans; plan and problem-solve with operations.
• Assist with incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Provide safety training on policies, OSHA/MSHA, NCCER, and client requirements.
