Job summary

Ross Group in Arkansas seeks a Site Safety and Health Officer to develop and manage the safety and loss prevention program across construction sites. You will lead audits, train staff, and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety requirements.

Travel to project sites across the South and Midwest is required; expect ~50 hours per week; you will coordinate emergency action procedures and supervise safety personnel to protect workers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or related field.
• Proven track record managing safety on construction sites.
• Ability to manage field staff with evaluations and training.
• Strong verbal and written communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage site safety and environmental training.
• Complete daily safety audits and incident investigations.
• Provide oversight to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain safety documentation and assist in audits.
• Lead safety meetings and staff evaluations.
