Job summary

Ross Group is seeking an experienced safety manager to develop, maintain, and oversee the safety and loss prevention program across construction site projects. You will lead emergency action planning, training, and daily safety audits while ensuring OSHA compliance and proper incident documentation.

The ideal candidate has hands-on safety management on construction sites, a Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management or related field, and strong communication skills to coordinate with owners,

Qualifications

  • Experience leading safety programs on construction sites.
  • Strong verbal and written communication with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage field staff and provide coaching and mentoring.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and manage site safety and loss prevention programs.
  • Supervise emergency action procedures, staffing, and training for contingency plans.
  • Administer job site safety and environmental training programs.
  • Complete daily safety audits, investigations of incidents, and documentation.
  • Ensure conformance with OSHA and Ross Group safety requirements.
  • Support audits by OSHA, corporate safety, and inspectors on site.
  • Maintain safety records and facilitate safety meetings.
  • Travel to project sites as needed and communicate with owners, engineers, and subcontractors.
