Ross Group seeks a Safety Manager to develop, maintain, and manage the safety and loss prevention program for construction site projects. You will assist in controlling hazardous working conditions, supervise emergency action procedures, and develop site safety training.

You will conduct daily safety audits, document incidents, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and support audits by OSHA and insurers. Travel to project sites is required with flexible hours.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field.
• Proven history maintaining quality and safety on construction sites.
• Ability to manage field staff with coaching, evaluations, and mentoring.
• Strong written and verbal communication across all levels of stakeholders.

• Develop, maintain, and manage site safety and loss prevention programs.
• Assist in controlling hazardous conditions and unsafe employee activities.
• Supervise emergency action procedures and training for contingency plans.
• Conduct daily safety audits and incident investigations.
• Ensure project sites comply with applicable safety regulations (OSHA).
• Document accidents, safety violations, and unsafe conditions.
• Provide problem resolution for sites violating safety standards.
• Support on-site audits by OSHA, corporate safety, and insurance inspectors.
• Monitor contractor compliance with safety requirements and Ross Group policies.
• Maintain safety documents and facilitate safety meetings.
• Travel to project sites across the South and Midwest with flexible hours.
