Job summary

McAlvain Construction, a Big-D Company, seeks an experienced Safety Coordinator to join our Boise, ID team. You will provide safety and risk expertise, develop and monitor site safety programs, and work with project managers to create project safety plans.

This role requires OSHA training, a bachelor's degree or 3–5 years in construction safety, and a valid driver's license. You will conduct orientations, coordinate trainings, and perform audits and reports to keep jobsites safe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety or construction safety preferred or 3–5 years of construction safety experience.
• OSHA 30 hour certification required (OSHA 510).
• Experience on large commercial projects and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor site safety programs and risk controls.
• Conduct safety orientations and coordinate trainings for personnel.
• Perform administrative safety audits, investigations, and reports.
