Job summary

RPM Utilities LLC is seeking an experienced Site Safety Representative to support our construction projects. The SSR will promote a strong safety culture, perform daily inspections, and ensure compliance with OSHA requirements on local projects, with occasional travel to out-of-town assignments as needed.

The role requires OSHA 30 certification, knowledge of OSHA standards, and strong communication and documentation skills to collaborate with field crews, supervision, and safety leadership.

Qualifications

• Construction safety experience required.
• OSHA 30 required.
• OSHA 510 preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA construction standards and jobsite safety practices.
• Ability to travel occasionally as project needs require.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture on the jobsite.
• Conduct daily jobsite safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Ensure employees and subcontractors follow company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Conduct toolbox talks and assist with safety meetings.
• Monitor PPE compliance and safe work practices.
• Assist with incident, injury, and near-miss investigations.
• Complete required safety documentation and reports.
• Work closely with Superintendents, Foremen, Project Management, and Safety leadership.
• Address unsafe conditions or behaviors immediately.
• Assist with new-hire and site-specific safety orientations.
