Job summary

Halo Technical Solutions Global is seeking a Safety Specialist to serve as the on-site guardian of safety culture on Sparks, Nevada projects. You will perform daily inspections, lead training, and enforce OSHA and NFPA 70E standards while coordinating with project leadership to keep work on schedule and incident-free.

The role requires 1–3+ years in construction safety, OSHA 30, NFPA 70E certification, and First Aid/CPR/AED.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of construction safety experience.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations.
• OSHA 30 and NFPA 70E certifications are required or preferred.
• First aid, CPR, and AED certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site safety inspections, audits, and field observations.
• Identify, document, and help correct potential safety hazards.
• Ensure OSHA and NFPA 70E compliance with project requirements and policies.
• Lead safety briefings, toolbox talks, and training sessions.
• Provide training on LOTO, trench safety, electrical hazards, and site risks.
• Assist investigations of incidents and near-misses and prepare reports.
• Collaborate with foremen and project leadership to resolve safety concerns.
• Maintain safety documentation, permits, and inspection logs.
