Job summary

The role focuses on ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations and aiding leadership to build a strong Safety Roadmap. The position requires OSHA 30 Construction, 0–2 years of construction safety experience (electrical safety preferred), and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• OSHA 30 Construction required.
• CPR/FA Certified (Trainer Preferred).
• STS and STSC certification preferred, along with other safety certifications desired.
• 0-2 years of construction safety experience (electrical safety experience preferred).
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to collaborate with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluation of safety program effectiveness via daily field walks and logging observations.
• Support project-specific corrective action plans addressing safety issues.
• Provide feedback to Safety leadership on areas for improvement and recognition.
• Coach employees on safe behaviors and recognize safe practices.
• Assist with site safety orientations for new employees.
• Assist with basic safety training (HazCom, Fall Protection, Lockout/Tag-out).
• Support incident investigations and injury/illness case facilitation.
• Raise potential compliance risks to Safety leadership.
• Attend daily safety meetings and evaluate participation and effectiveness.
