Job summary

Rex Moore is seeking a Site Safety Specialist to promote a safe and healthy work environment on construction projects in Northern California. You will lead safety assessments, develop procedures, and partner with site teams to implement health and safety plans. Travel up to 25% with day shifts.

The role requires OSHA 30, 5+ years in construction safety, and strong leadership to drive continuous EHS improvements. Benefits include health, retirement, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ safety experience in a construction setting.
• Must possess OSHA 30 construction certificate valid within 5 years.
• Knowledge of state and federal safety regulations as applied to construction and general industry.
• First Aid, CPR & AED certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety assessments/inspections of projects under construction to monitor and ensure compliance with safety/health requirements.
• Collaborate with management to develop, prepare, and implement environmental, safety and security policies and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to eliminate workplace injuries and health problems.
• Assist with development of Method of Procedure (MOP) and critical activity plans.
• Conduct safety training for supervisors and field employees as directed.
• Provide written reports documenting site visits and incidents.
