Job summary

NW Construction, Inc. is seeking a Site Safety professional to oversee the site-specific safety plan, monitor day-to-day construction operations, and ensure hazard recognition and accident prevention on active projects near Los Banos, CA.

You will implement safety policies, conduct training, and lead safety inspections while coordinating with project teams to maintain compliance with OSHA standards and company safety programs. Travel across the Western United States is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy civil construction environments.
• Familiarity with OSHA 1926 regulations.
• Willingness to travel/relocate across the Western United States.

Responsibilities

• Instill safety as a top priority and stop work to correct safety issues.
• Identify hazardous conditions and implement safe practices.
• Develop and oversee the Project Safety Program and site policies.
• Conduct training and orientation sessions for new hires.
• Monitor compliance with safety requirements on heavy construction work.
• Review incident and near-miss reports and coordinate corrective actions.
• Lead safety inspections and safety meetings with government representatives.
