Job summary

The ideal candidate has at least two years of safety experience, a safety-related degree preferred, and the ability to collaborate with various teams to maintain a safe work environment across sites.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety and environmental principles and techniques.
• Ability to identify potential exposures and drive corrective action.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite programs.
• Proven leadership, management, and interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience in internal and external customer service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety audits and issue violation reports with corrective actions.
• Stoppage when immediate danger is present.
• Collaborate with Safety Director on policies and procedures.
• Provide leadership for assigned projects and coordinate with project staff.
• Serve as onsite Safety Professional for safety-related questions and improvements.
• Build partnerships with Subcontractor Safety Reps to ensure compliance.
• Investigate and resolve field safety issues and communicate with staff and subcontractors.
• Enforce safe work practices per regulations and owner requirements.
• Educate and advise staff on safety guidelines and policies.
• Conduct scheduled and impromptu safety trainings.
