Job summary

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety audits and issue violation reports; require corrective action.
• Shut down work when there is an immediate danger to life or health.
• Collaborate with Safety Director to implement corrective actions per policies.
• Provide leadership and build relationships with project staff.
• Serve as on-site safety resource for questions and improvements.
• Partner with subcontractor safety reps to ensure compliance.
• Investigate issues and communicate resolutions with staff and subs.
• Enforce safe practices per regulations and contractual requirements.
• Educate staff on safety guidelines and policies.
• Lead scheduled and ad-hoc safety trainings.
