Job summary

Pogue Construction Company seeks a Site Safety Professional to oversee safety, health, and environmental policies on our construction projects. You will act as an on-site resource, train managers and staff, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications include a two-year degree in Safety and Health (preferred) and strong MS Office skills. Two years’ safety experience in commercial building is expected.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and enforce project safety, health, and environmental policies.
• Stop work when immediate danger is present and coordinate actions.
• Partner with Safety Director to implement corrective actions.
• Provide leadership on assigned projects and build staff relationships.
• Serve as on-site Safety Professional for construction projects.
