Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in safety and solid knowledge of OSHA standards, loss control, and workers' compensation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected, with opportunities for training and career advancement within a stable organization.

Qualifications

• Two years of work experience and/or related education specializing in Safety.
• General knowledge in Loss Control and Claims Management.
• Basic knowledge of OSHA rules and construction safety standards (OSHA 1910/1926, NEC, NFPA, ANSI).
• Basic understanding of State Workers' Compensation laws and reporting.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist in controlling hazardous conditions through interface with project management/supervisory personnel.
• Conduct regular safety inspections of construction areas for compliance.
• Complete inspection reports and follow up on deficiencies.
• Conduct staff and craft safety training per company and customer programs.
• Investigate accidents and near misses and document findings timely.
• Perform special projects and general support duties as needed.
