Job summary

Van Meter is seeking a Local Construction Coordinator to support job sites in the Eastern Iowa market and the broader network. You will coordinate materials, coordinate receiving, and act as the liaison between sales, operations, and contractors on site.

The role emphasizes safety, process improvement, and strong communication with vendors and customers, with extended travel to customer sites as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs regularly.
• Forklift operating experience required.
• Knowledge of Eclipse preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety policies and initiatives.
• Complete returns for parts from the jobsite.
• Maintain jobsite inventory and coordinate parts.
• Coordinate ordering, receiving and shipping of parts.
• Provide customer service as the main Van Meter contact at the jobsite.
• Build relationships with site personnel.
• Work with Inside Sales and Purchasing.
• Travel to customer job sites as needed.
