Job summary

Covenant Contracting in the Southeast US is seeking a hands-on Site Manager to lead on-site execution of multiple construction projects. You will oversee all on-site activities, coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets and safety standards.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, proactive problem solving and clear communication with clients. A degree is preferred but not required, with 3+ years' experience in site management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering or related field is a plus but not required.
• 3+ years of experience in construction project and/or site management, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations and quality standards in the southeast US.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with specifications, building codes and safety regulations.
• Develop and directly manage detailed project schedules, including task sequencing, resource allocation and milestones, and monitor progress.
• Oversee and coordinate all on-site activities, including material procurement, subcontractor management and workforce allocation.
• Monitor project budgets and financial performance, identifying deviations and potential risks.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety, quality and project specifications.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including records of site activities, progress reports and change orders.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers and stakeholders to address project requirements and provide regular updates.
• Foster a positive work environment, provide leadership and support to the team.
