Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience within the construction industry.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic understanding of English to read and understand work instructions and safety information.
• Must be able to follow directions.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the job which include walking, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, sitting, squatting, and occasionally lifting and carrying items up to 25 pounds.
• Must be available for work 5am – 6pm Monday through Saturdays.
• Exposure to machines and chemicals with usually high noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Assist journeymen with duties in construction and demolition.
• Clean and prepare construction sites to reduce hazards.
• Control traffic around work zones.
• May run the water truck
• Perform other site-related duties.
