Job summary

Housley Communications is seeking construction laborers to perform tasks on building, highway, and heavy construction projects in Texas. You may operate hand and power tools such as air hammers and cement mixers, assist other crafts, and help prepare sites and clear debris.

You will also assist with signaling equipment operators to align machinery and maintain clean, safe work zones. Qualified applicants are adaptable, physically capable, and able to meet the job requirements including crawling,

Qualifications

• Occasionally crawl, kneel, and balance.
• Frequently reach above shoulder level, crouch.
• Continuously bend, squat, push/pull equipment.
• Occasionally climb.
• Stand about 4 hours and walk about 3 hours in an 8 hour day.
• Lift loads up to 24 lbs repeatedly.
• Exposure to moving machinery, dust, fumes, and gases.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand and power tools on construction sites.
• Signal equipment operators for alignment and movement.
• Clean and prepare sites to eliminate hazards.
• Control traffic near work zones.
• Lubricate and clean equipment and tools.
