Job summary

FirstEnergy Corp. is seeking a Construction Site Coordinator to coordinate pre-construction through post-construction activities for transmission and distribution projects across PA service territories including Oil City, Erie, Clearfield and Indiana PA.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Construction Management or 3 years’ experience in construction; electrical substation exposure is a plus. Strong teamwork and MS Office skills are essential for success in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related technical field is required.
In lieu of a degree, 3 years of experience in commercial/industrial construction is required.
Experience in electrical substation and/or line construction is preferred.
Proven teamwork and interpersonal skills to aid in issue resolution.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and supervise pre-construction, construction, and post-construction activities for transmission and distribution projects.
Foster a safe, high-performing safety culture on site.
Develop contractor bid packages and participate in pre-bid meetings.
Monitor schedules, CPM calculations, floats, and predecessors; report progress.
Coordinate material requests, staking, and site logistics for contractors.
Ensure adherence to safety, quality standards, and project costs.
