Job description

Mead & Hunt has a full-time position available for a Construction Services Supervisor in Washington, DC; Maryland; or Virginia office locations.

Responsibilities

• Managing and mentoring staff, including assigning work and monitoring work quality.
• Leading construction inspectors on materials testing and inspection procedures.
• Conducting, coordinating, evaluating, and recommending training to develop staff skills.
• Assisting the Department Manager with staffing resource allocation and business planning.
• Providing project management and supervision for CEI projects.
• Managing business development opportunities and client relationships.
• Ensuring transportation group and M&H policies/procedures are maintained and followed.

A valid driver's license and travel will be required.

The Successful Candidate Must Have All The Following

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field from an accredited college or university and at least 3 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Associate degree in engineering or related field from an accredited college or university and at least 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• No degree, but at least 7 years of relevant engineering experience.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have Any/all Of The Following

• PE license in MD, DC, or VA.
• Ten (10) years of industry-related experience.
• Construction Manager (CCM) certification.
• Experience supervising and mentoring staff.
• Experience with construction site quality control and quality assurance, claim reviews, and reviewing change orders.
• Experience with cost estimates and project scheduling.
• Experience preparing proposals and managing contracts.

Salary Range: $115,000 to $145,000 annually - actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as experience, skill set, or location.
