Job summary

TYLin's San Francisco office seeks a Construction Services Manager to help lead the PMCM team, grow new opportunities, and manage existing contracts in the region. The role may involve overseeing multiple projects and personnel to deliver on-time, on-budget outcomes.

The ideal candidate has a PE, 10+ years of bridge construction management experience, and strong communication and leadership skills to coordinate with owners, contractors, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management with a PE.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management of bridge projects.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven leadership abilities with multi-million-dollar contracts.
  • Ability to manage a multi-disciplined staff of PMs, office engineers, and field engineers/inspectors.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to secure PMCM contracts.
  • Track and develop new client leads.
  • Position the company for contracts as a prime or major part of a strategic team.
  • Collaborate with marketing staff to respond to RFPs and SOQs.
  • Manage one or more construction management and inspection projects.
  • Coordinate with agency/owner, contractor, utilities and stakeholders.
  • Ensure QA/QC procedures are followed on projects.
  • Identify and hire PMCM personnel and provide direction to staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

T.Y. Lin International’s San Francisco office is seeking a Construction Services Manager to assist with managing construction projects and expanding the company’s existing PMCM group by developing new opportunities and clients and working through existing contracts in the region. The position may require managing multiple projects and personnel.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to secure PMCM contracts.
  • Track and develop new client leads.
  • Position the company for contracts as a prime or a major part of a strategic team.
  • Work with company’s marketing production staff to respond to RFP’s and SOQ’s.
  • Manage one or more construction management and construction inspection projects.
  • Provide close coordination of work with agency/owner, contractor, utilities and other stakeholders as required.
  • Implement established project management, construction engineering and inspection safety procedures and guidelines on project(s).
  • Follow prescribed Quality Assurance/Quality Control procedures.
  • Identify and hire talented PMCM personnel.
  • Give direction to PMCM staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction management of bridge.

T.Y. Lin International is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $153,600 - $230,400 annually for this position and local market.
