Job summary

Turf Design, a subsidiary of Armstrong World Industries, seeks a Construction Services Manager in the Chicago area. The role combines estimating, project coordination, and project management to drive profitable growth and exceptional customer experience. On-site work between Gilberts and Chicago with relocation offered.

You will lead teams, set performance standards, and collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Design to improve processes and outcomes while mentoring staff and delivering results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in estimating, project coordination, customer service, sales operations, construction services, or related.
• Demonstrated success leading process improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting commercial construction, architectural products, or related industries.

Responsibilities

• Leads estimating, project coordination, and project management to support profitable growth and customer satisfaction.
• Establishes performance objectives and implements corrective actions to improve effectiveness and team performance.
• Provides leadership, coaching, and development to supervisors and team members.
• Analyzes business, sales, and operational data to identify trends and support decision-making.
• Partners with Sales, Operations, Product Development, and Design teams to improve processes and outcomes.
• Resolves complex customer, project, and operational issues to support long-term retention.
