Job summary

HNTB, a national infrastructure firm, offers an internship that supports construction services teams across multiple locations, including North Charleston, SC. Under close supervision, you will assist with basic tasks and learn how post-secondary construction services coursework translates into real projects.

As an intern, you will attend meetings, observe on-site material testing, review basic shop drawings, and help with data collection and project deliverables as directed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent plus current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary construction services program
• Completion of 2 years of post-secondary construction services program (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assists with construction office support tasks including meeting minutes, tracking logs, and other deliverables
• Attends and observes project meetings with internal and external teams
• Observes on-site material testing and may assist with basic shop drawing review
• Performs basic research and data collection
• Reads construction drawings and provides feedback as requested
• Assists on portions of special projects as directed
