Job summary

ETC Companies, LLC is seeking Site Superintendents and a Project Manager for a new multifamily rehab project in Detroit, MI and surrounding areas. The role oversees planning to execution, resource allocation, and ensuring safety, quality, and compliance across sites.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a Construction Superintendent, with proven leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Proficiency with Timberline and Raken is a plus; OSHA 30 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years as a Construction Superintendent.
• Experience overseeing Multifamily rehab and renovation projects.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Proficiency with Timberline and Raken software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation.
• Allocate resources for assigned projects.
• Maintain daily field reports in field reporting software.

• Facilitate toolbox talks as necessary.
• Ensure adherence to site safety standards and document discrepancies.

Large GC specializing in Affordable Multifamily Rehabs and Renovations, looking for Site Superintendents and Project Manager for new project in Detroit, MI & surrounding areas.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
• Allocate resources for assigned projects
• Maintain and update daily field reports in field reporting software
• Ensure accuracy of field documents and reports
• Facilitate “Tool Box Talks,” as necessary
• Ensure adherence to site safety standards and document discrepancies, if necessary
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
• Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
• Other related projects, as assigned

Skills/Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5-years of experience as a Construction Superintendent.
• Experience overseeing Multifamily Construction rehabs and renovations.
• OSHA 30
• Computer proficiency a MUST--experience with Timberline, Raken a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized with strict attention to detail
• Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
• Ability to process requests quickly and efficiently
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated and self-starter
• Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
• Familiarity with construction management software
